The concept is closer to a Monkey Ball or Jet Set Radio style instead of the fantasy illustration that Warcraft is. I like your comic/graphic novel style, Morris, but if you're attempting to make this into something that would fit into the Warcraft universe, you're gonna have to let go of the harsh shadows and outlines.
Morris, I'm going to have to assert if the objective is to still create a Warcraft character fit for WoW, just take an existing Warcraft concept and attempt to recreate it in 3D. Your drawing style is very strong, but the way you handle renders by laying in heavy black shadow shapes doesn't fit the bill of Blizzard art :/
Your second attempt is certainly closer then the first, but if you compare it to http://screenshots.en.sftcdn.net/en/scrn/86000/86428/world-of-warcraft-goblins-wallpaper-2.jpg you see that how it is drawn is only about 50%.
