Thanks Sebvhe, I've actually followed that tutorial already and came up with this guy: It was a lot of fun, and I plan on making more realistic ones in the future. I will try to incorporate Zbrush the next time around. Such a confusing interface though, compared to everything else!
Here there is a crystal I did see how it could look like in marmoset. It is far from perfection, but I did it thinking about doing a fantasy asset, as the big crystal in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicle (that after checking, is way more realistic :p ) Critics are welcome.
Sure I can do that for the next one, but trim smooth borders is my main brush with a square alpha. I also use some of the damage alphas from this guys 18 rock brush pack. Most of them are a bit too stylized for realistic rocks but there are a few I really, really.

According to your references, I'd probably have a look at either south west coast of Portugal or alongside the Great Ocean Road near Port Campbell in Victoria,…
That's really fantastic, man. I think I'll give that a try. Thanks for sharing! I've been working with mostly procedural smart materials in substance, I'm using Jonas's rock to test as I didn't have any good models of my own on hand. Tried some alien looking ones along with attempts at more realistic. I need to upgrade to…
Sebvhe: Yeah you are right, problem is I'm mostly using one mesh, and mostly it's straight shapes so in order to get some angles I kinda have go out of the realistic realm, but yeah I do want to get a real environment going, and I have started something in unreal 4, but yeah besides work the hours I can put in isn't that…
Here are a few rocks I made last week for a school project. Some of my coworkers don't like the "cubic" look I got so I might have to do some more. We are only using half rocks, so there are 6 but I can combine the rocks in order to make 3 full rocks if I want to. All the 6 rocks are sharing one 1024² diffuse and normal.…
