staceanator, check your mesh's normals. UDK (and pretty much all engines really) only renders the side of the face with the normal facing outwards, it won't render the backside of the face.
rectangular box with bottom faces deleted. tho i may have to change this as it doesnt match the concept very well as its too blocky :( edit: this is uv 1 and uv 2 for light map which i used my mask on to blend to cracked version of my texture and im sorry for the image spam everyone else :(
People have some sweet blockouts going on. @Dawars: Watch out for highlighting the edges on your wine bottle. You want it to appear round. Plus go bigger and bolder with your details, those things on the cork probably won't be seen unless you're close up. @monkeymintaka: Nice 2d blockout, super useful. @Silver Spade: Yeah…
