think that more about bringing in whole levels or multipart objects and not one single object with 1mio poly... a car for example hast hundreds of parts and all togehter about 250k poly... you could now send a car over in one go... -

Mayas 3D Painting is very rudymentary, but quite useful and stable, for example for painting masks etc. I wonder if they have fixed the bug, where the brush cursor doesnt work when doing projection paintning, but i seem to be the only person in the world who cares about that... -

Unfortunately it is not supported. It might not obvious to everyone, especially if you work often on regular monitors too. But I noticed it instantly. I think I'm spoiled here :poly136: It's indeed not a roadblock for the workflow. But does look really nicer with crisp graphics, like in Photoshop, or Blender for example. -

Epic Games released with the UE4 Subscription their auto-rigging tool for example. Very powerful but in python. I'm sure some indie dev using the engine would like to see this tool under Maya LT. I dont buy the "number of people you can sell Maya to is significantly smaller then the number of people you can sell Photoshop to" argument at all. It's also not just photoshop though. About GoZ support in Maya LT, I take a look at GoZBrushFromMaya.mel. It relies on the "system" and "fopen" command to work properly. The "system" command is not supported in Maya LT. And The "fopen" command doesn't work on "a" or "w" mode. These two limitations kinda block GoZ from working in Maya LT. If the intention is… -

Yeah, and what if you want to make something not human ? A mechanical arm for example ? Sorry but the choice of removing IK is totally stupid. It would have been more logical to remove HIK in my opinion since it's an high-end feature that (probably) gain a lot of time. Therefore indie developers should be less comfortable…
