Really nice way to present a small diorama. The quality as always is high. One thing I noticed is the wood grain running vertical on all the panels. As per your wood panel design and where the seams/joins are I'd expect the horizontal panels to have the grain running horizontally not vertically across all the panel strips.
This is really fantastic Scott. Love all the attention to detail in how the building was made. With the many layers of different wall treatment as well as secondary assets in there like the pipes. Textures look great as well.
Looking awesome man! Still a work in progress obviously, But a few thoughts: The whole scene is a bit desaturated/dull. It would be cool to see more saturation, Maybe in the painting and the chair. I hate to be stereotypical when it comes to this kind of furniture, But that read leather would add a lot of flavor. I really…
Great over all fell, as always! :) Something that bugged me a bit is how the panels are teared up really nice with alphas but the beams aren't. It would ad great detail if you got that in, both for the planks and the beams. Looking forward for some tasty updates! ;)
I also think the chair should be red. Would bring the focal point back again. Interesting choice with adding parts of the lower storey, risky for the composition but I'll watch with interest how it all will come together. Judging from the falling stuff you want to make the place look as if it's falling apart? Perhaps…
Those blue booths are epic! I'd love to see that. Instant diner thought: Red + Checkerboard+Chrome. Blue is unexpected, and looks very appealing. And props for the individualized responses. Forget the art, You deserve a metal for your tact. Not to mention your ability to consistently integrate all the great community…
You never disappoint man :) all the way down to faded edges on the Drilled holes on the plywood back! Awesome Only part even remotely in need of attention, if any, would be the power cord. Given how old these things are i'm not sure what material it would be, But it reads as if it's raw cable right now.and the tips are…
Looking good Scott :) Wood, tile and stone definitions look great and it looks like this is gonna turn out sweet. The only crit I'd have now is I'm not digging that pillow as much as much as the other stuff. At least from this angle, it looks a little thin? Maybe just fatten it up a bit to give it more volume, and some…
G'day everyone! I have been putting together for the last few weeks a small diorama scene in my own time. Ive had the concept in my mind for the last few years, and finally I had some spare time to work on it. Ive spent the last few months doing non-3d stuff (magazine articles and talks!), so now thats out of the way ive…
