Hi guys, my name is Petar Yankov. I'm currently taking a 3D Animation degree at University of Hertfordshire, UK. Passionate in character creation, new to Zbrush and tired of Mudbox :) You can check out my work at my website: http://www.petaryankov.co.uk Here is some of my first time try on male anatomy study: And a more…
A bit of an update. Lots of details are lost but I will bring them back on the next render :) I'm kinda juggling between three projects and this one I left when I got free time.
Thanks for the crit :) I fixed some of the problems and I like it like that, it was suppose to be more of an art thing rather than realistic. Thanks for the quick replay :) I agree with you for the shoulder part and for the eyes, will try and fix that today. The neck part is long because of the famous neck rings witch I will probably add. But when I have a look at it now, its probably too long. I'm now doing a quick sketch of the ears :) Will post some progress…
Agree with Doug, also I think you can make her shoulder wider, they end just over the armpit. Look at some reference for the bonestructure of the shoulder as well as how all the muscles fold into and under the deltoid (Which also looks like it is too long) http://www.anatomy4sculptors.com/
Your body work is good, but the head and the neck on the third image needs some work. The neck is proportionally too long for the torso and the eyeballs are bleeding into the lower eyelids. It's very good for first attempts though.
