Not quite sure what just happened there but your point is as valid as it is tired. However, a fun game is a fun game and if they nail the shooting and make it feel great, this game could work.
This Game was a lot of fun but man those final few levels took ammo managment and gun juggling to new heights. that said the mech designs and hell the art in general is freakin amazing.
I got it yesterday and holy shit -- the advertising did not prepare me for this. What a really amazing game. Great artwork, great gameplay, really fun dialogue. I was kind of expecting a pretty but brainless shooter and instead I'm playing it for eight hours hooked, then jumped into bed and kept going on my Vita.
I hate this game... because it showed me that my PSU was dying and now I have a weekend where I can't play the game. :( :( The wait for a new PSU is going to be a pain, I loved the little I actually got to play, and the good old style of health. And the level layout feels more fun.
