Great tutorial, I was looking for something like this; However how would i gain a normal map and AO etc from this to really make it pop? Also seeing as your quite skilled at foilage :P could you please make a tutorial on how to create some different foilage types in maya/zbrush?
The reason I tried this method out is that xNormal and maya take a really long time to bake AO for meshes like this, and it doesn't come out very well.
