Hey, thanks! :) I'll keep that in mind and keep working on it, I'm going to sculpt it in Mudbox or maybe try zbrush (haven't learnt it yet) and I'm gonna attempt to handpaint the texture soon, so more feedback will be welcome :)
Sweet! Practice pieces are always welcomed. I would say you nailed the base mesh with some collapsing of your edges it could be a really great low poly too, Are you sculpting or SubD ing the mesh to get your normal. That along with the texture will make it easier to crit.
Damn I haven't updated this thread inawhile. Branch: Looks awesome! just needs some color! I dont even think you would need to sculpt what you have there looks good to start baking. I would take a look at lenny agony's guide it help you, atleast jump start ya to finsh a weapon.…
