Do all weapons need a corresponding charparams file? In my case I'll never use a first person camera- only third person. If not, where am I pulling out animation data for the weapon from? The associated weapon XML?
As far as I know, nearly every animated object (with several animations) need this file, as it says where the model can find it's animation. I guess you need it, but you can copy the existing ones from e.g. the SCAR weapon and just edit the stuff you need. I also think the 3. person view thing is just an additional thing,…
