As you asked for some design critique, here are my two cents: Personally I think the design is pretty weak for various reasons: 1. Without further explanations I would have no idea what I'm looking at. The general form seems to suggest a kind of spacecraft or hovercraft. But I barely can tell which parts of the vehicle…
Happy Xmas everyone ! posted these from this thread link NOTE: If you downloaded the previous files from my thread please delete those and add these to the correct directory thanks :) these now use the substance folders. Download Substance Tools Updated where the files go in. now all files go in into the basic substance…
Why not quote this again? This looks great! My only beef would be with some of the functional design. The railing in particular stands out. It's attached to what looks like a pipe instead of something structural.

Great work on here as always, Small side project more about UDK materials, functions etc.. still WIP. [ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jgJJDOjyBFE"]UDK - Alien Material Testing - YouTube[/ame]
Made my first gun. I'm happy with it. It's not based off of a real gun, but rather, I merged my favourite aspects of many. And while it isn't completely functional, I think it looks pretty believable.
Recent work in progress, making this to test in marmoset 2 on the 5th. But fuck I hate the head/mask. I'm gonna sketch another one to see which looks best! Hopefully one that's more functional and appealing, so ignore the current one ;)
Finally calling this done: And starting on another weapon. I've been in the mood for weapons lately. Very early stages. It's a tomahawk sort of axe. Decorative, and functional. Not quite sure how to get the Mother-Of-Pearl right, but I'm getting there, slowly! The blood is just for fun. I'll have a version with and without.
Great work! Everything looks nice and clean, if you were to ever re-touch the textures, I would suggest adding some accumulative dust/grime along the underside of the Box and Receiver from being shot on a bipod so often. Either way, looks functional, what else would you need in an lmg anyways:thumbup:
