This work is more than inspirational. As awesome as the weapons are, and dont you worry... They are going into the main inspiration folder lol, but the relics are what really stand out to me. They have so much character. Awesome work man, the spec is incredible on a lot of this work.

@ ausernottaken : this is what I think is great with Polycount. Sometimes in the games I play I can say "Hey I know who model/texture these assets :D '' These weapons are so much breathtaking! Good job! Direct in inspiration folder!
Awesome and inspiring stuffs! Thank you for sharing them here. I wanted to know more about your texturing workflow especially for the diffuse. Did you use a lot of photo-sourced images for the details such as grimes, splatter or did you use custom brushes in Photoshop to achieve that? Thanks!
Phenomenal stuff. Absolutely inspirational. I remember during the opening when Denis puts the machete right up to the camera and it just looked so god damn good. More than once while playing I would stop and just turn in circles and stare at how awesome my weapon looked.
