After I've saved a preset *.xml file, how do I load it again on a new project? Load Preset... just brings up the original presets. EDIT: I've moved the files that were saved from my art library folder to the dDo folder (would be good if we could specify a path to custom folders). Think I've got my locations right: Saved…
Hi Wiktor, those are some nice video's you made thanks a lot. PS: could you tell me what script/plug-in you used for retopologizing the high-poly Remington Chainsaw in the time laps video.
I am also getting a similar error like Schneller with the 64 bit version. I get that dDo loading bar that just hangs at 50% even when completed. When the texture is updated in the model viewer. No Script Alert issue just a load bar that hangs around till dDo is closed.
Since I don't use normal maps at work. I'd like to try testing dDo with curvature maps. I tried the Maya script posted in the wiki, but I can't get it to work with Maya 2012. I'd really appreciate it If anyone can give me some tips on how to create curvature maps in Maya or perhaps Zbrush.…
Getting this when starting a new project, will edit post if I figure out what's going on (The filename in the dialog isn't always the same file) sneaky restart didn't fix it so I'm now out if ideas. Was using ts + os + dif + colour + lowpoly. Trying just ts + low poly gave me a general 'script error'. Using cs6. edit: I…
Sorry about missing your post Computron! dDo accepts both anti-aliased and non-anti-aliased color maps. Rule of thumb would be to avoid big gradients, overly soft brushes and very similar colors when setting up the color maps. dDo-nDo interopability will get some love as soon as dDo gets stabilized (and it needs a whole…
Should we be rendering out our color maps with anti aliasing? How does dDo handles its selections in this case, as the colors end up interpolated? How does nDo bake out its selection maps? How interoperable is nDo with dDo? Any special features in this regard? Also, should we be baking out our normal maps in Unity tangents…
MohsenDehnavi, Get the latest version of dDo here and the new trial will unlock another 45 days of testing! JasonLavoie, Adding to a reply I just sent in another thread here at PC: The key trick to make Photoshop run smoothly when working with nDo2 is zipping, which is very similar to the collapse workflow you're…
