With those curves, is there a function to create a curve and then make the mesh deformed following the curve? If you are using maya, try working with the ep curve tool. There should be simple tutorials on youtube. Only thing is you will have to spend a ton of time unwrapping them if you want to texture them,, i wont be. Also if you are using cryengine 3 there are rope entities that you could create in the engine,, havent tested it…
