Now to add diffuse details /material definition and work on a better specular. But I think this is a nice base to start working from. Thanks dDo ;) Also need to build a nice material for the paper, if anyone has any advice / material refs for it please do let me know~
Thanks for the advice! I went along with the tricount, rendered an AO/NM. Lowpoly: I kinda like the result of the bakes (AO rendered at 4k, NM at 2k) Still getting some bake errors, setting up a better cage in Xnormal tomorrow and starting on the diffuse..Any feedback then will be veeery welcome :)
Checking out dDo. Really awesome tool! But as this is a practise piece I don't think I'll be using this for my final texture, just messing around a bit, and finally getting some color on my model..:) I might use dDo for boosting my AO a bit and getting a nice specular. Gonna try to use dDo with the 'color diffuse' function…
