I've got a question about base meshes and sculpting. I was going to do a sculpt and create a base mesh using topogun. Is this OK, or should I just make the base and sculpt separate?
I've got a question about workflow. Do you make clothing in a regular 3d program, or do you sculpt it? I'll have a draping loincloth type thing and a skirt. I'm not sure how to move forward on those.
Whatever gets the job done! There are plenty of people who prefer to sculpt their models and retopologize to get their normal mesh. How much detail should one go into on a base mesh? Should it be just enough to cover the basic egde loops?
