1. MAYA FBX export question

   Hi ,all I exported a mesh using MAYA exporting MAYA select FBX. But .I found many extra mesh that I don't need had been expoted also. I don't knoen Why? Hope somboay can help me! Thanks!

   1. Snap the meshes pivot point to the center of the grid. Select it. 2. Window> Settings/Preferences> Plug-in Manager> [x] [x] fbxmaya.mll 3. File> Export Selection... 4. Files of Type: FBX export 5. Turn on "Smoothing Groups" + "Tangents and Binormals" - Shut off "Smooth Mesh" 6. Export ;)

   Than you! My MAYA is 2009 version . So No setting like you mentioned in maya2009.using MAYA2012 ,Then export selected mesh successfuly. I want to ask How can I have FBX Version like maya 2012 FBX setting in maya2009.

   Now I import my FBX file to new maya scene ,Found extra mesh had been imported also.
