It's not a bug but you are also not doing anything wrong :) It's a UI/UX -issue. The setting you are looking for is called "pre-scale" - you can find it under the options of Layout UVs (right click the icon). In that case I'd try renaming the 2015 folder and let maya create default prefs and everything, then try with just NSUV in there and see where that goes.

Hey Martin, I really great addition would be to unfold 3d on multiple objects without repacking, you can't do this in Maya by default so I have to select each shell by hand, then unfold 3d, then repeat. Would be great if you had a button in nightshade which could do this I find I'm doing that a lot lately for lightmap uv's.
