I did another one- hopefully more polish than last time, and only 40 minutes:O I DID end up ripping off Richard williams a bunch to save time though...
sweet. It would be great to see him run down a large creature and devour it or shred it to bits. Like a tiger taking down it's prey. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ol9IAjfc0_M"]Tiger Kills Ostrich, can chase prey down that run 40 mph or more. - YouTube[/ame]
Some nice animations guys! PeteHawk- I think the main thing that's off about that last animation is the weight shifting. looks like he needs maybe 1 or 2 more frames for him feet to support the weight before he kicks the other foot out. Here's a little 40 minute run
What a great idea! Yours look awesome :) Quicky animation cycles can be a good way to test the rig too. I tend to do that a lot with my doods. All of the animations I have have already been cleaned up... but this one was done pretty quick... maybe closer to 30-40 min.
Ok, so I broke the twenty minute rule, but that's only because I lost track of time. This rig is so much fun to play with. It's not finished but this is what I had after I glanced at the clock. I believe it was about 2 hours. Its only an hour and 40 minutes over. Its not that much :P
@ Stephen, It's completely possible to do it from standstill =) That's how I learned it. And if you want to learn it you should do so, I know a tricker who is over 40 and he started at his late 30's I think. The sport itself has come long way from where it started in sports karate and I wouldn't call it merely martial arts…
