So, I'm sitting in my bedroom in Australia, watching live footage of scientists and engineers on the other side of the planet stream photographs directly from Mars. Technology is kind of awesome, isn't it. Was pretty exciting watching the whole thing go down with perfect execution.
lol, well, it takes NBC that long because they delay it for prime time. I'd like to see them implement something to stream extremely hi-res images quickly. Right now, it's a 14 minute communication delay. It still takes a while to get those images.
