floating geometry should be possible on every single engine these days and if it's not, you're not programming that engine properly but to answer your question YES floating geometry is very much possible

so the importer has a bug on calculation =] the importer triangulating or not doent matter, the engine will calculate as triangles always

oh i figured it out the source engine doesn't like you modeling into the negative parts of the xyz axis

Particle systems are done in the game engine, completely seperate from a modelling program. @crazyone End of August, if it got accepted in July.

The engine probably supports this, but you being able to do anything with this is a whole different bag of cats, what are you trying to do?

@Riceart, did you make sure that you used 100% black? The engine only uses 100% black and 100% white.
