I know What a spec map does, but is there a good way to generate a spec map that I can work off of into a custom spec map. Is there a good tutorial beside the one here at polycount about specular maps. Thanks!
so i take it this is for unreal 3 then. Well then this spec mask is probably going to go into your spec power slot and your spec mask will go into your spec map slot.
this should go into the 2d 3d area of the forum, and I guess it will later, but does anyone have specs for developing wii games? the reason I ask; the next challenge will be using wii specs, but no-one is quite sure what they are!
