I haven't used it, but there are a couple scripts around for mirror-modeling morph targets, if that helps. http://www.scriptspot.com/download.asp?ID=2694&inf=1
thanks i will give it a try. how does the depthbased alpha output it's inf could it also be used with a -1 to give things a hot edge where it intersects other objects too.
ya they drain energy, but are mostly used in areas with inf's and radiars attacking since being one of those classes with no energy means our shield dropping or falling out of cloak, and being eaten by turrets.
Make sure you have a driver loaded for it, well more of just an .inf file for the device manager so Windows knows what it is. See if there are any utils to make it go into a standard (non-wide) mode.
It should be there for the 3.17.1. See the xNormalSBM_Maya2k11_x64.mll file in the x64\maya_plugins folder. I don't see your UVs mirrored. There are not in range (-inf,0] or [1,+inf). If there is a UV seam the light won't be continuous. Perhaps 3dsmax solves that using some black magic ( like auto UV-welding with very…
Two more problems that are usually easy to fix: search for QNAN and #INF and replace with a 0. Sometimes Maya gets an infinite number (the second one) - and the first is not a number. You'll see a camera transform in the .ma file that's like: 23.QNAN so if you replace it with a zero it will work.
