The game looks awesome-sexy-tastic guys !!! and I confirm that I had a blast using the model viewer, it's really a great tool, easy to use and has a way better realtime output than any 3d package around.
Just saw this: http://kotaku.com/confirmed-telltales-making-a-game-of-thrones-series-1478795944 http://www.vg247.com/2013/12/07/tales-from-the-borderlands-announced-by-telltale-and-gearbox/ I'm curious what they will make of this.
This input method was used quite a bit in Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC (probably on console as well, but can't say for sure). I assumed it was used in lieu of a confirmation requiring a pop up and second button press.
I might be heading there this year! Gotta get everything confirmed first, but the polycount meetup we did at Lefty O'Doul's was fantastic. I'm not sure what went on last year but I'd love to join in on another meetup. :)
Thanks okkun for the heads up! I just sent an email over with my resume and a link to my demo. Is there anyone I can confirm with to make sure it is successfully received and doesn't end up in junk/spam?
I did not contact the artist on any of the pieces I posted yet. I did not want to bother people without confirmation that we wanted to use their piece. I figured we could contact as it got closer.
This website is a great resource too: http://artists.pixelovely.com/practice-tools/face-expression-practice/ @mikezoo: I was curious about Philippe Faraut's books after watching some videos of his. Thanks for confirming they are awesome as well!
ZBrush is not GPU dependent. I can confirm that in Maya 2016 SP1 there's the same problem with both DX11 and OpenGL viewport modes. Working good in Cinema 4D R17. Have you tried reporting this problem to AMD?
Not sure, you could try 'reconstruct subdivision levels', but I think you need to use 'Remesh' before that to make the model all quads. EDIT: Anyone can confirm if custom UI still works in R2?
It seems like a common error with Maya 2018 and sadly I don't want to roll back to 2017. Anyway, I was about to buy the tool pack but it looks like is not fixed yet for 2018, can anyone confirm this?
