Sweet, so i couldnt post this in low poly due to the armor, lol. The armor on this bad boy brings him up to 1500, without he's only 450 sumthin His name is Cendah, from the Knightman video games.
Don't make the armor completely black, give it a metal texture, very obscure. Then add some specular and weariness details to it, slight details. Apply a nice specular and env map to the rest of the armor and that should give it a nice realistic look.
I wanted to try sketching things out further to figure out how parts of the armor will look overall. I won't be sticking to this draft by 100%, but it'll give me some understanding moving forward. Time to get back into ZBrush and get this armor blocked out.
As I am a FFXI Beastmaster 75 (/charm <t>), I am a strong force of knowledge when it comes to ledgendary Beastmastering. I realize that you are heading for WOW, and you are right to re-work their Beastmasters, cause they are weak, and I look down upon them as if children. I am very interested in this project. If you are…
The head seems too small for the body, and the shoulders look to be quite high relative to the arms. In general, armor can make the proportions seem odd, so it's usually best to get feed back on the basic shape before adding thick armor.
The details on the armor is looking sweet, hoping you are going to flesh out the face in the armor more, because it's lacking behind a bit. Not crazy about the X on the forehead, but I might look more natural later on ;) Can't wait to see this finished :)
I'm finally done with my base high poly model. It's time for some ZBrush action =) Heavy armored version of the vehicle Light armored version Thre are more pics on my website. Don't wanna flood this thread with tons of pictures :)
Love the design, i really like that you used such an amount of different cool looking stuff on his armor. His belly looks too empty to me, maybe a pipe that goes from his chest armor into his belly button.
Hello to everyone! It's been a while that I've started to work with this
beast and I have got a lot of materials about it. Guess it would be one
some looong WIP. Lets start from some road wheels. It has 12 of them so when I clone them it
will already seem that a lot of work is already done :) Initially T-72 was…
One more quick update and then I'm done for the day. Worked out some of the leg, added tone and changed up some of the armor proportions. Next three big things: hand armor, figure out how to solve the foot so that it fits the style, and then the belt accessories in general.
