Holy crap, over $120 for a year? Sir, just read Polycount or something. You'll learn more. I imagine much of any useful 3D information is lost on non-savvy writers and editors. The internet is wonderful!
Nope not 200m just 200 generic units, helps a lot with unreal / unity workflow while being on grid like 128 generic units in max can be 1.28cm or 1.28m depending on your final unit choice.
Sure, if you hate dosh. (Skyshop is $125, Toolbag license is $59) If you're going to be using Skyshop anyway then that's not a problem, but otherwise you're going out of your way just to avoid a (seemingly unlikely) problem in the future.
Partly, but not fully. While it is true that the importer requires very lowres textures (128*256 in the case of a Pudge head piece), there are obviously other problems here, as shown by the faceted look you are getting in the portrait preview screen.
I updated the pack to work with the new release of Minecraft, and made a site for my pack while I was at it. :) Download the pack for Minecraft 1.6: http://www.wayuki.net/minecraft/Wayukian_pack_v6.1.zip Also, have some donkeys! :D
For the assignment we were restricted to 12k and one 2048 map (Including equipment). If it was a personal project I would have used multiple maps. I'm going to redo the shorts tough they have been a problem. : S
I had this problem in 1.6 too and hoped the 1.7 will fix it. I try it reinstall many times but nothing changed. I tried it install with UAC off but same problem. Update 1.8 doesn't helped me.
Even though there is no hard limit on the polycount, you have to make it as much as low without affecting the model and silhouette. Dont go over 12k, also put everything in a 2k map including weapons. Good luck
hey im not to sure what u mean by a grid system. Anyway u could explain that? also these arent actual sizes. the appl is 128 i think and wall is 512. Just was getting them on one page.
Needles: I think they have found a way to make the Red and Green colors last quite a while (I think around 40k hours), but the blue is where the problem still is (I think around 12k hours).
