That could be because your details on your normal maps are not extreme. What do your normal maps look like? If they are mostly blue, they some small changes in the green channel aren't likely to have much effect, but try it with a strong green channel normal map and you will see the difference.
Also worth checking out... -Did you flip xnormals' green channel setting before baking? or in the shader...or manually in photoshop? In other words, flip your green channel and look for improvements -How much padding did you use? (looks like it could use a lot more)
If you are going for the Amazonians as described by the Greeks were from Asia Minor (most probably near modern-day Turkey), and had arms and armor not too dissimilar from the Greeks and Trojans. On a more gruesome note, they supposedly removed one breast to make shooting bows and throwing spears easier.
dude, it's just a blue laser housed inside a light saber handle, if it's anything like a green laser the beam is visible in the dark. But it isn't a 3 foot beam, it's visible for hundreds of feet. A guy got arrested a little while back on charges of trying to blind helicopter pilots with a green laser.
It really looks like your green channel is flipped.... but if you've tried that already, I don't know what to say... Try using Xoliul's viewport shader. You'll see in realtime if your normal map is working correctly. There is also the option to flip the green channel within the shader itself.
Ehm, no problem! ;) Just checked that sometimes you have to use the edges in the UV Editor to use this Button. I have selected 2 Green Edges and pressed the Button and nothing happend. Then i selected the same Green Edges in the UV Editor an they become white after i pressed the button.
OK, I fixed it, tested the fix, and pushed the change. Baking with a Y- tangent space swizzle should work now if you don't flip the green channel, and baking with a Y+ tangent space swizzle should work now if you do flip the green channel. It was a super easy fix :)
Hey guys thanks for the congratulations, and even though things will be hectic, I decided to enter the war! So good luck to all, and death to all that oppose the Black and Green, or the just the green as Pliang says:P By the way the prize page is up at http://www.gameartisans.org/dominancewar/en/prizes/index.htm Spark
comming along good, i especially like that texture on the green part of the bug. One thing that hurts my eyes is that purple color, it goes ugly against the background and against that green part. Damn i hope you understand what i'm saying. Keep up the good work.
Agree, especially cheap TVs and TN monitors which often have their green gamut corner way beyond sRGB coverage , while red and blue ones deep inside. And nothing would fix it for non color aware applications like games That taught me to always desaturate greens a bit
