@ MoP- I agree about the box, most of those extra tris are from the rounded cylindrical parts. Without those it would probably be around 500 tris. @ Nizza- Thanks man, and I agree with u as well and i was thinkin the same thing about the damage. Im gonna tone it down because it looks like overkill. The bullet also give off…
drakino: Apple competes with software but once you decide "I want OSX" there's only one hardware manufacturer to buy from. Sony doesn't have to compete with other Playstations, Nintendo doesn't compete with other Gameboys. If you want that software, there's no way around that hardware. And it shows. What did they demand…
the guy he is makng fun of has no understanding of poly limits and games... so in the extremly low-poly model competition prime gets mad and complains that you can't get good detail from a 500 poly model... then he creates his own competition for "high poly modeling" but then caps the limit at 30K, and for high poly models…
Hey great design you have there I would love it as an actual figure maybe look into having it fabricated into a 3D porcelain or hard plastic model. I'd buy that think about it. Looks about $50.00>(+)<
There was an old Rogue Trooper story set in a desert that had been hit by a nuke and fused into glass. When you think about the 500 mph winds that go with a nuclear explosion, could be an interesting place.

oh yeah-- virus scanners/firewalls. Norton won't support x64. They said they never will, unless you buy the Corporate version for something like $500 bucks a copy, and you can only buy 5 copies at a time. So I went with NOD-32 from Eset. It's 64bit compatible, and honestly the best anti-virus software I've ever used. I…
Hey EQ I agree with you : PC's strength is the community and the constructive criticism, and this need to stay as it is (as opposed to the fanboy posts often seen on DA or CGHub) However! there is a few things we could do to make PC more accessible to viewers, as it is still very cryptic honestly. Thumbnails for instance…
[ QUOTE ] yeah Motz. The lack of players is disappointing. I am really enjoying this game but it's hard to find a good match with a decent ping too often. [/ QUOTE ] I'm finding this problem also theres not enough players out there. I read that they only sold 39,000 units which seems awfully low for a UT game. If you check…
Zmapper will use the highest subd level of the mesh you caputure. I've taken a mesh over 2 million polys, dropped down to under 500k and captured it. Then when baking normals, the highest level of that mesh is used. Tried giving xnormal a shot? Should be able to import yourhighest zbrush mesh into that and use cages.
