yeah the persp camera acts dorky 'cause it's still set for Y-up viewing. using the viewport menu, View->Select Camera, open the Channel Box and set the Y axis rotation to 0, that should fix you up as far as persp camera manipulation. but you may also have to relocate your ortho view cameras as well -- depends on how they…
Makk did a good paintover I did a lil paintover over makks painterover, i was looking at the phot and the front view seems to have insufficient light compared to its side view so i cahnge the levels to match the side view more. Makk's is pretty much spot on but it jus seems too light, i played around with the levels in the…
I like it so far: feedback from me, wish/ change list: * right now it first rotates the view and within a 2nd step zooms in - which irritates me because with 2 steps it eats to much time of my work. So could it be combined into 1 animation tween where the view rotates and zooms in/out at the same time? * it seems not to…
-Personal Project- I'm very excited to share my latest project – an environment inspired by regions of Southeast Asia. This project came with many challenges, and everything you see was created entirely by me from scratch, without using any pre-made assets… yes, that means no Megascans assets were used! The project took 17…

Not only do I have the picture for you to view but also a breakdown of how I did it. View the project breakdown here: View Here
Thanks, I went side view because James was saying quite a while ago I should go for a side view. I'll look into the little foot problem. I've actually worked on the legs and the torso quite a bit. It's got a good side to side, up and down, some rotations, stuff like that. I'll upload a front view as well soon. Thanks,…

More Freebies & Newbie Know-How Tips from the Battlefields: Lipsync Tip: As shown in previous posts (and more to come), iClone has terrific tools for creating fast, easy and accurate lip-syncs. And for both of my entries, High Noon Toons and Lost (Cow) in Space, I need voices and vocalisations for many different…
Hey! Great work so far  I had similar thoughts as the guy above, the silhouette from the side would use some love, and chunky is definitely the word! I think the chestplate (and backplate) could be much more thick and clear, at least that's how I usually perceive armor. It could also have a shape which would allow…
Yep, Perspective all the way! I usually work with a viewport of around 45 in a perspective window, I then create a camera from this viewport so I can zip back and forth from ortho views to perspective/camera ones. Also if you are not working with symmetry while you are at this stage I would change now, it will help you get…
