Finished my second year of uni and all my exams! Been jobhunting for the summer and I've got a small job making a short animation for a toilet-seat company. I have been working into my Moonrise Kingdom piece and my girl character but only small changes - will update in a few days.
I guess you could quit making us all look like noobs haha. Great stuff man, keep it up. Watching you do these makes me realize how little I understand about lighting and shadows. At least now I know what I'll be doing this summer.
You know they have Air Conditioning in Texas right ??...and besides texas is not any hotter then Nevada ( Both have +100 temps in summer ) I lived both places. Texas on the other hand stays fairly warm during the winter unlike Reno which usually gets pounded by snow from the Sierras.
Hey guys, I'm a junior at Cogswell Polytechnical College focusing on 3D Modeling. I've had my site up for a while, but I'm hoping to get an internship as a modeler this Summer, so thought I'd see if I can get some critical feedback on my meager portfolio. http://www.brodybrooks.com/ Thanks, - Brody
Hi everyone, undergrad senior here at USC (with an extra semester in the fall). Looking for any type of job/internship this summer in the LA area, be it paid or unpaid. So far, the style I've been focusing on is in the same vein as WoW/Torchlight art style Here's my work http://justintang.daportfolio.com/
Me and my friend decided to do a summer project together after watching the awesome film Bronson. Here are some reference images from the movie : This is what we've done so far: textures are blocked out for now and much more to be done We will keep this thread updated as we progress :)
woah may I see your kit-bash? ? thats one of my plans this summer. Anyways, about your interior, I assume there would be clumsy patrons accidentally dropping a bottle of wine or something, moved chairs and stuff. How about big-ass paintings on the wall ?? :)
Yeah that fixed it. Another question though: Now when I run the Quixel Suite, the application opens up the incorrect version of Photoshop (CC 2014 summer release which lacks flash panel support and thus, sucks). Is it possible to tell Quixel what version of Photoshop to run?
I agree that the gables could be a bit bigger, but they aren't as small as you say they are. If I remember correctly, those aren't suppposed to be used as windows, but more for ventilation in the attic. Otherwise the temperatures get too high in the summer heat and cause fires, bringing years and years of work down with it.
I'm going into my Junior year right now and teaching project fun over the summer. I think I've met you briefly as a freshman. I really liked how Crunch turned out. Were you guys able to find work after all that? -Neil
