No text on the site? You shouldn't really have all of the text as images. - It makes it hard to read (the font you use is a bit of a mess). - It takes far longer to load than raw text. - It's inaccessable (people with vision difficulties can't just scale the text up). - You can't copy/paste any of it. - Search engines… -

Ok, finally got a bit more time to change up the portfolio some more, I created a site with weebly so I could put up a blog for a few more of my projects and add in a few more things here and there, now, would it be best to have this site where I basically put up a lot of renders as well as more information about myself… -

First off, that site looks hugely suspect. I'd only trust news from reputable sources, this site looks like the efforts of a random loon, or group of such people. Secondly, doing a search for that guy's name mainly brings up blog entries, and links to conspiracy theory sites, all very wishy-washy and personal opinion… -

How about being a filter site for other free sites? Like a sorted/graded link repository. I have a ton of links to freebie sites for various things (brushes, actions, textures, seamlesses, hdrs, etc. etc.) but knowing which ones have good content vs crap is a real moving target. Need help with modeling weapons
Hi guys, this is my first thread here in polycount. So don't be too mean to me. :poly124: I have in plan in the next 80-100 days to model 120 realistic high poly weapons, I reckon each weapon can be model withing 3-4 hours depending on how much detail it has. Personally I prefer peoples dedicated portfolios, I find artstation in my experience can be pretty bloated and often means it takes me longer to load images on there at a lower resolution than on peoples personal sites. Seems like all those sites are all illegal downloads/torrenting sites, so asking it to take down is probably not gonna do a lot. Just make sure that people tell about the livestream in those comment sections and hope for the best it seems. They all seem to link to the same three/four downloading sites (and not a torrent),… -
