well there is speedtree, but i dont know how familiar with that you are. you can do it through the material editor but thats a lengthy proces. you may want to check through Adam's lengthy evil genius hidden forest base thread to see if he mentions anything about that in there. -

Damn, just looked like different times of day. the forest in the CG looked better, but that may be the seasons, and the time of day was different, but still, really nice job. Now what would be extra good would be to see that with Nvidia's 3D display, like they had at GDC. Scott Scott -

On my trip for references, here what I got so far ! I always wanted to do some ruins of a temple or something deep in a forest, with trees growing inside ans through stone. I will maybe turn it in some mystical way or something ! -

He looks kinda slimy, I'd try to make his textures a little less shiny. Looked better in that second picture, the one with the forest background, but might only be the angle. try to aim to make his skin more like that from every angle. -

Here's a screenshot of the Alpine Forest scene that I'm working on at the moment. I'm just testing out foliage in Cryengine at the moment, so this won't be a huge scene.. But it's getting there. I'm going to be adding in lots of colourful plants and flowers next to give it a bit of colour variation. -

Thanks Ciril :) Yes the second floor is supposed to be accessible. Here is a little update. I spend some more time detailing the blockout. I used the forest level and some props and textures that come with CryEngine as a guideline and modified the terrain etc. to lay down the design and feel for my scene.
