I want to get the new Cintiq model that just came out. I helped host the Wacom booth at Comicon and been hungry for the upgrade since. There's nothing wrong with this Cintiq, I'm just gadget greedy ;)
just Recently purchased a Wacom Tablet and have decided i want to get into character design so here is a early stages T Rex I have been Working on. Just trying to define the shapes and forms at the atm for a good base to move foward
It would be even better it you could pick it up for free on the app store and take it on the go. I would love to see an app like this on a tablet. Im hoping it will be soon since Wacom has a new stylus to team up with it for the iPad, one can only dream!
Yeah, it was designed with something more like a Wacom in mind, which doesn't have that issue of detecting the stylus when it's not actually on the tablet. As for creating a smooth circle, try activating lazy mouse to get more control over your stroke. It's found under the Stroke menu at the top.
I'm way too cheap for these things. I'll just get an old HP TX series off ebay and stick windows 8, and some nice graphics apps on it. The Wacom digitizers built into them aren't the greatest but they are decent for sketching around, and the pens are pressure sensitive but not great.
I completely forgot to check this thread for replies, mostly as I haven't had the problem anymore. If it does show up again, I'll try that. I actually re-installed the drivers a while back when my wacom would work on the log-in screen, but not once logged in >__>
have you checked the mapping of the Tablet in the Wacom drivers? it would need to be set to just the second monitor. If that does work I would try uninstalling and then reinstalling the tablet drivers. There should be a solution this because I have heard of people using a normal tablet in conjunction with a Cintiq.
About a year ago I took two desktops, a laptop, a wacom, a monitor, and two digital cameras on a trip from D.C. to Phoenix. Everything made it fine. Sorry to hear about your bad luck. Hope you get it all back or at least a pile of cash.
i have *never crashed photoshop - from version 2 onwards - until the other week when i crashed cs2 twice on hitting ctrl-d to clear a selection while (i think) moving the wacom a distance. It was prefaced by the cursor dissapearing, and then hang watch out for it
I´ve had issues with my right hand for many years now. It started in November 2011, I couldn´t hold a potato chips, not to mention wacom pen (that I had to tie to my index finger to be able to finish a project) - not a carpal tunnel, not a problem with ulnar nerve and other than "your problem is extraordinary" I didn´t get…
