My first post^^ Here comes my compliment sandwich! I'm liking the skull with the candles on top looks good, but it looks to good for the rest of the scene. The wall, books and table look 'sterile' and don't look gritty or used enough in my opinion(I'm sure this is a scene from Diablo yes?)so more focus on the textures on…
great to see you improving! just a small comment here, she is looking wooden/shocked... might be due to the iris placement. i think it needs some playing around. im not sure if you turned on perspective in zbrush (~10 is a good number) - the back of her skull is far too narrow. it should be wider when viewed from the…
What I would recommend is to start off with a skull, once you get the shape and proportions of the skull down move on to facial muscles, you will need a good understanding of this in order for any character you are to make have a believable face, and body if you model a body as well. Then once you have a good understanding…
Is that what green magic cards look like these days? The skull looks more like it's a piece of wood carved into the shape of a raven's head, skulls tend to have more holes (nostrils, ears, ...), no sharp corners especially near sensitive organs like the eyes, obviously larger holes around the eyes (to give them padding)…
Seems that everyone and their mother is making those shields now! So I thought I'd try design my own. This is the basic design for it so far. Gonna go for an enchanted/magic vibe with it, will do some kind of misty/icy particle effect emitting from the eyes. Not sure if I want an actual skull or if I'll make it metal. Feel…
goraaz: ^^ cheers bro ceebee: nps :) bridgemand ftw : D so umm, if anyone's got some super secret awsome head sculpting techniques, i'd love to hear them... last few days have been painful for head sculptin :poly127: quick skull study, a huante werewolf/hyena sketch and some other feature studies. Hope more skulls help,…
i think spine not really will trigger the low violent content, but the skull is i guess. cause i also middle designing the WK set too >_< till i on hold because doing other stuff. then someone tell me about the skull graphic thingy and many WK sets rework because of that (suspect) since the evil looks like this can pass…
Thanks John. Yeah I've been studying muscle forms and considered doing some skull studies before those, but decided to skip sculpting any bones. So I will take your advise and have a more in depth look at the skull. Is there any problem area your spotting? Thinking about it the cranium in my sculpts may not be large…
One thing that seems off to me is the skull logo on his mask, it just seems to pristine /stencil like with all the sharp edges and perfect curves around it compared to the rest of the character. I'd break the edges up and fade a few areas of that skull. And probably go for a more off-white colour rather than pure white.…
He 's certainly recognizable, so you've hit some good points on the likeness. The ears are too far back or too parallel to the skull, not sure exactly what is wrong without a side angle, but it definitely takes away since you can barely see them from the front. The forehead might be a bit too narrow, it's mainly visible on…
