skarner wip just blocking out the concept in maya... will go through in zbrush to define the parts where flesh meets metal, and bake out the detail in bump and AO or something...
I quickly posed the character with Transpose Master to check proportion and search for thing to correct before it's too late. I'll do some draw over and I'll plan how to continue later during the week.

Little bit late, but Congrats man, your work and attitude were bound to get you into a sweet studio sooner or later. :) (ps. Do more portrait studies, the two in your 2d section are amazing!)
Thanks mate. Yeah, it's basically a hybrid of bodypaint/zbrush/photoshop. It's the software they used on Avatar and some cinematic studios like Blur have switched to it lately. I've been looking into it this week and it looks freaking incredible.
