Hello, I wanted to share my recent personal project with you. Kylo Ren lighsaber. It was susposed to be a "game ready hero prop/weapon". The object is 11k tris, and uses one set of 2k textures (PBR). I would like to hear your opinons, and critiques. model
Pretty nice detailing of the body. I will be more careful about the main shape. I will give more a S curve to the body. The upper torso should point slightly up (around 75 degrees), when the hips should point toward the bottom slightly (around 110 degrees).
Took me 1.5 years to get a real stuido job after graduating. My portfolio sucked blah blah sob story . Anyways I worked a regular job and worked my ass off and finally got in. You can to, education is not everything tons to learn here
I'd cut it down from 2.5 minutes to 1-1.5 minutes, only show your very best work. Also I don't mean to offend you but I think the choice of music is poor for a showreel, try use something without lyrics if possible, especially not rap.
