You can also try using a bigger ray distance. It defaults to 0.5 (whatever that means!) but I know that with the mesh scales I use, based on the default Mudbox body mesh, bumping this number to 2 or more does the trick.
The tree likely does have tiling, its just used in combination with a normal map for the trees volume. Combining two normal maps usually means that the diffuse output us multiplied, and means the diffuse has to be RGB 0.5 darker.
@.Wiki When duplicated the surface of the new object is in line with the original, creating an effect like below. Are you saying that the effect is only visible in the workspace? Now if I scale the second object slightly (-0.05) I get the desired result
Welcome to the world of MMOs! It takes so much code and content you can't help launching with an "old" engine. I believe Aion started development in 2005 so they used an engine that was only a year old at the time, that's pretty ballsy.
is there a way to turn down the power on the freaking smooth brush? even when I make it literally .001 strength it's way too strong. anyone know what I mean, or how to fix this? I just want it really subtle.
i recently bought a 200 inch 1280x1024 max, 3 panel lcd projector for $305... all it needed was a new lamp... which set me bakc $250... but then again all together thats still very cheap for the system.
