Does a HDCP DVI require a different plug than normal to enable the HDCP? And what the heck is a DP port? Are there any 120hz versions on the pipeline in IPS? Mostly because I can "feel" the 60hz… -

And why has no one mentioned the monitor? You can barely read shit on a regular TV, so calculate in the cost of an HDTV or a fancy cable/connector for your VGA monitor that they'll probably charge an assload for. -

I think the biggest prob with this piece right now is material definition. As it stands its hard to tell what anything on this gun is made out of. Hmm I have firewire cables but connector on hard drive isn't compatible guess you need external case. @Dekard: I can't find that file you mention, do I have to 'look' somewhere for it? Not sure what you mean by root folder, I unhid all my files but couldn't see anything :S -

It's definatly very Alien. I think the cables are a good idea but they look weird. I dont't think they should overlap and stick out as much as they do, you just want some really thick, heavy cables with big connectors hooked up to the sides and then snaking down underneath. -

Blowing does nothing but corroding the connectors. I think there are instructions on the net on repairing the connectors. For NESs you have to bend the connector pins a bit (or purchase a replacement connector that doesn't require regular bending), that's described as well. -

this last model looks like a good start, I think youve made quite a few of the shapes too small only suggesting shapes rather than really pushing them out, for example the bevel line on the front has much more shape in the concept and the connectors on the tubes look bigger and more interesting int the concept. -

Following up, take a few polys from the spec and eye and put it in your joints, it will make it more useable and more evenly distributed.
