I'm in SF. Tumerboy, PopeAdam, and a few others are in San Jose. I'm sure there's more, but yeah if in The City hit me up on Google+ (or with a PM here). The updates come to my email/phone, so its easy to coordinate. I'm usually available after 7-8 these days, and weekends of course. -

I was down at the Metreon in SF this morning. Not really chaos, but a lot of trash left by the campers. Wasn't worth waiting for it while standing over half-empty McNugget boxes. I mean I'm as excited as anybody else and would have loved to have got one at launch, but yea not in the mess of the sidewalk that was. -

Seems to me like the pistol is actually better than some of the auto weapons, fires as fast as you need, doesn't do that much less damage and is pretty accurate. When I'm USMC AT I use the pistol instead of the MP5. SF suffers from having the silencer block their view with the pistol. -
Some Zbrush sketches
In preparation for DW4, I have been practicing Zbrush as much as I could since it's new to me. I've watched DVDs and tutorials and I'm enjoying it more each time I use it. looks like you're trying to sculpt Guile, or at least the SF style of huge body/tiny head. i'd say his arms are too far out too, and that his abdomen is wayyyyy too small for the rest of his frame, as if he's only ever pumped iron at the ends of his body, but not the middle. -

Woah I knew Phil Hale's stuff but just didn't know the name, thanks for pointing it out! I've seen some Kuksi stuff in a gallery in SF, honestly it was very anecdotical at best. An interesting rendering technique on all the pieces tho, some kind of smokey AO look, worth looking into I'd say. -

Yeah that's sort of the idea, but because it is much more focused and smaller scope it can have many more connectivity features (between SS, etc). And the forum can take care of many of the SF features, like commentary threads and bugtrackers... we just need to get that automated. Actually I'll post that in the feedback…
