Hi everybody, just got done messing with my new Wacom tablet and created this texture for the dungeon environment I just started, heavily inspired by Torchlights style! Amd here is a shot of it tiled: I'll post up some screenies of the dungeon textures soonish
soooo I guess I've had an IPS monitor all along and I didn't realize it? I've got a Cintiq 21ux at home and a 22hd at work, Wacom lists the specs as having H-IPS panels. There must be a better panel in the 22hd because the quality is amazing.
I'm curious about whether the haptic feedback is worth the extra cost. The last I checked the system was $2750. while a seat of Zbrush 2 would be just under $500. Add a new Wacom tablet and you're at $1000-1200. Is it any more productive a system?
Here is a small update. Im liking the color pallete alot more with this one. On a down side, i broke my wacom pen =( so i cant really work to much on him right now, the updates ive done to the difuse was with my mouse....it was hell...
You may want to change your wacom tablets setting from Standard mode to Recognition data mode. This maximizes the data rate of the tablet and may solve your pressure issues in zbrush, photoshop etc..

Wacom improved the curve settings with the latest driver. Now you can do what this video shows with the help of some freeware - AWESOME! http://www.ctrlpaint.com/home/2012/1/17/stylus-tip-feel.html
Is this thread a joke about all that "viral marketing" stuff lately? why are PCs so HUGE So I can put my right speaker, my mouse base station and my Wacom on it of course!
yes, opencanvas was nice in the brief experience i had with it. Although, i still don't think you can beat photoshop 5 and a wacom tablet with a worn nib and big gouges down the plastic overlay.
I was looking at that one awhile back. I've read some reviews on it that say the screen has some pretty poor glare & viewing angle problems though... But it does use the Wacom "Penabled" technology apparently.
