Hi Zander, I have used Body Paint for some years and I just recently switched over to 3D Coat which is as just as good. Body Paint around $900 and 3D Coat around $349. I also use it for a scultping tool but that is not as good as zBrush. Download the trial and see what works. They also have a hobby version that is only $99… -

Each object has a unique ID number, the name is just a property that YOU see. Max sees "object 345678" Which happens to be a box with a property called "Box001". You can have two objects with the same name property just like you can have a box with identical height parameters. You don't have to worry about max mixing… -

I still like 32 inch hdtv for monitors, some are just amazing in both color range and quality. If one were to move away from the tv and want a gaming + art experience... then something like the LG Ultrawides. They are made for gaming and workstation use (graphics). See:… -

For a more complex meshe, indeed, same settings, xNormal give me my normal in 34.217s and HandPlane in 541.78s for a very close result (except flat projections). -

Nah, you could get it for maybe 345 or 340, but honestly, that's not worth the risk for something as valuable as this. Just get it at newegg. Or via eBay, of course, but don't try any weird sites over a 2-3% discount. -

Just moved back to Vancouver, dont really have alot of time for art right now but this is one of the last things i worked on over at Digital Extremes. the retro MarkV armor for Halo 4 Champions bundle DLC that came out recently.(Techsuit,Gun,and background map created by 343 artists)
