That stick looks great Pior! I can't imagine why you'd want a circle gate though! I'm so used to the square gate from playing in arcades I can't switch. A lot of the SF 3 players here like the octagonal gate, but I've more experience with Virtua Fighter and DOA so I really need the square gate. Bort - post pics when it's… -

tnxs for the pic SF, interest to look at I was under the impression it was best to keep your verts and edges connected and also try stay with quads in areas where u got a lot of complex geo. i was tryin some stuff yesterday and came up with this: it looks ok but still not "perfect".. especially in the top right corner… -

Awesome, thanks for clearing that up for me. I always thought IBL was just part of the PBR and the other part was super precise textures. I've been reading up on PBR since the SF GDC, but your explanation helped me wrap my head around some of the inconsistencies. -

I tried to do this in 2012, sadly I didn't really get any reply. Seems there are not that many Polycounters going there, it also seems to me that GDC Europe isn't that much focused on the art side of games as GDC SF is. Won't be going this year but good luck gathering people =) -
Need help with modeling weapons
Hi guys, this is my first thread here in polycount. So don't be too mean to me. :poly124: I have in plan in the next 80-100 days to model 120 realistic high poly weapons, I reckon each weapon can be model withing 3-4 hours depending on how much detail it has. I have some skill, I'm not the best modeler but I think I can… -

Lamborghini Murcielago LP-670 SV? All of the air intakes look little off. Also the hood shouldn't have that ridge running through the center. And the shader looks a little "plasticy". Take a look at this pic for a little more reference. Other than that it looks pretty nice. Keep it up -

The lost vikings ! a new Earthworm Jim with the spirit of 1 and 2 Fade to black wasn't near good as flashback, which is still my favourite SF game. Turok 1 and 2 were cool (stupidly hard though). The last one have nothing much to do with the original universe. -
