My latest portfolio piece and this time the concept is from the amazing Betty Jiang. Tried to replicate her smoke animation as well which was a lot of fun. Check that out on my artstation. My artstation: https://www.artstation.com/jacobodding Her artstation: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/8XQ0R
Wish i had your skill man. You know, i tried to replicate your handpainted style once, but ended up looking like shit..:( Anyway, awesome work, can't wait see it finished.
@Anuxinamoon - Thanks for the feedback. I will give your method a try. Funny things is I was looking at one of your mounts and trying to replicate the process with limited results. I guess I should have just asked :)
That said, Amused to Death is actually a really boring track if you listen to it. I think oXYnary managed to replicate its boring-ness by pasting it out in full, in italics, thus destroying any notion of "quick and to the point".

For starters the screen is horrible for art. Highly pixelated, lots of dead pixels..you can tell they use the cheapest panel they can find in china.…

Good work so far Gabkosit, some suggestions I have would be to fuzz out the hairline area so it's not so sharp, and the cornea has a bulge to it which you could replicate with a parallax map, if I'm not mistaken.
Yea, there are more posibilities in UE4 even you can use now a lot of textures for a material which is good for terrain. Those are tricks and tips that can apply to UE3 or UE4, you can still replicate the same results.
Nice start so far. I must admit i'm a big fan of Noah Bradley's work myself, the hardest part to pull off will be replicating the lighting I bet. I look forward to watching your progress.
