Wow, I am really impressed. I like the hard edge modeling on the armor parts. Did you use Zbrush or something else? I'm looking forward to see the final result, as I loved the portrait you created of Morgan Freeman.
As promised here is part two of the lighting tutorial for Toolbag. This time I'm covering common lighting setups for portrait/character lighting, filled with animated GIFs and awesome art content from polycount's very own Tim spacemonkey Appleby. Check it out here: http://www.marmoset.co/toolbag/learn/character-lighting…
@blackdragonstory No problem ^^ I am happy to help. And as you say, just keep going at it. I´d reckon with a lot of practice you will be amazing! But let it take time, and don't be frustrated if progress isn't coming in a day, it takes time, years. Good luck! Yesterday i started on a portrait, feedback is very appreciated.
Nicely done :) My only suggestion would be to use a narrower FOV/longer Focal length for the beauty shot, even if that means cropping the composition a fair bit. This is usually preferable for so-called "attractive" portraits, as it gives a look closer to what one sees with their own eyes. As explained here : I hope this…

It's like if you had some suburban neighbourhood with toucans flying around or something. It's not impossible, but it's pretty unlikely and makes it hard to suspend…
Interesting short film/pitch/trailer/whatever. It looks a lot more dark than the other movies, which it should be. The scorpion reminded me a lot of the Shang Tsung from Mortal Kombat 3 though; http://www.umk3.net/images/portrait/shang_tsung.gif
Not yet, I ran into some driver issues with my tablet and pressure sensitivity in photoshop, so I decided to hash out the portrait and go from there. Next step is silhouettes I think, then some sketches and a turnaround. Die Antwoord Fan are we? =D
I really love this, well done! One thing I noticed is everything is using the portrait animations, it's ok for most, but some make the character look completly broken. I would recommend using the normal idle animation instead. :P Keep on going!
