Night Light :: Desert scene inspired by 5th Element and Dune. First try at an outdoor night scene. Wireframe :: Another render angle. I just did rough human shapes and then a cloth sim to make the characters. I want to go back and actually design characters when I have more time. -

France's song was blander than dogshit, so they deserved their low score. Most of the former eastern bloc countries deserved lower too, but they all voted for each other. And yes, the UK performance was truly terrible. -

Looks like slightly-corroded bronze. But how did it look in the movies? I think you're going to be battling expectations if you deviate. Unless you push the differences really far, and the material has a brief backstory that makes sense. For example, what if the Joker owned the batmobile, or this is a deep-sea submersible… -

Hey awesome work so far. If I had a critique it would be the tank could use a few different versions. I see a lot of tanks in good condition, but what about one that has been through a few battles? In the desert? In a city? If you did a few tweaks here and there and a few texture versions I think it would really sell it. -

Not to nitpick, but is the goal actually an isometric shooter? Top down is literally perpendicular to the ground- or nearly so. The angles here are more isometric in style. Also, more info as to the setting may help. Is this urban? In which case you need homes/apartments. Is it a road in the desert? In which case you may… -
