@BlvdNights - Yeah I drew inspiration from, voodoo, witchdoctors, shaman, native american art, Diablo, and Xerxes (from 300) I do need to get the accessories figured out though but the fact that I'm a huge Blizzard fan I appreciate the comment :)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5YMu2jy7Oqw&t=313s I made a tutorial, where I talk about what I think about and how I push the forms on weapons like this! check it out, you might find some useful thing in there!
Hey dont feel so bad, I purchased the commercial version which at the time was around $300 before they changed their license for the non commercial to be used commercially. Its the nature of how things work, good company though, good people. Its worth it.
What do you say about the witcher 2? I have no idea how big it is, how much quest and ai and all that shit there is. But that game looks fucking pretty! Compare skyrim and witcher 2, skyrim is shit. Then, CD projekts are ~300 people.
would like to know which london studios are paying 300-400 a day Torch, I mainly got around 200 per day. I guess It's since I am classed as a modeller, even though I am primarily a texture artist
The sing is "Phatbat 1303" by Blindside, which is actually a Swedish hard rock band. The song is just a bonus track off of one of their early CDs, I think "A Thought Crushed My Mind" was the one. :) Almost forgot the link to the AmbX site: http://www.ambx.com/
yo mamas so fat, I used her to fracture objects instead of RayFire...you know, because RayFire costs like $300 so I'm like hey! why not just use your mom....because she's so fat. 0_o
around 300 bucks??? special edition, shipping to germany. That´s too much, i get alot of great books/education for that money. But i´m going to print out some sentry-guns when i got some time to polish the models
ok yeah if together you are making 50+ then you will be fine. I mean I made it my last year in school making less than 30k in san diego and i am married and have a child... Life wasn't too glamerous though..
my recent favorite is Gates of Fire by Steven Pressfield. Truly epic novel about the battle of Thermopylae with exhaustive research providing a rich historical backdrop for a truly amazing piece of historical fiction. Fuck 300, a movie based on this book would be the ultimate epic.
