Now that is really cool. I don't think I'd ever use it for art, but it'd be a fun thing to just have lying around. Drawing aids like these are never worth what you pay for them for me, but this is nice just as a piece of sculpture by itself.
oh don't worry conor, i played a fair number of rounds during the beta... and usually got pretty soundly spanked comp stomps i can usually handle, though. so maybe we'll load it up and have some fun on this map
umm this is no naughty dog test, i am doing this one for fun, i didnt think naughty dog was hiring, i didnt see them up there at gdc. anyways, if they have a similiar test, i will try not to do the same thing as they are giving to their candidates
Yep, Mr. Kite's work deserved that 1st place. I'd have voted the same! Yours came out nicely too, Sectaurs, good work there. In fact all of the entries were fun to look at, I think this one was one of the best contests yet!
Yeah I'm sure it will get patched. I have noticed it too. It's quite bad to be honest. But I've had so much more fun with the game I don't care. And man those sci fi / techy looking consoles on the left are super sexy!!!
Anyone else notice when a year or two ago a lot of companies switched their recipes for more healthy ones they killed the taste? Seems like now I can actually taste the corn-starch or whatever the hell they're really made of. And thats no fun.
Sure, here's a p3d.in so you can look at it and jazz http://p3d.in/gmkuG/wireonsmooth (wonky smoothing is caused by p3d, it should look perfect in all my target engines) Yeah, it's fun to do stuff like this, I should make it a habit :)
Works for me I'd like to have a game that actually takes advantage of both my cores I can't wait though. It's a hell of a 3pack, that's for sure. TF2 and Portal look like hellacious fun, and Ep2 just looks kick ass. Can't wait!
I'd challenge you to make a fun board game! If you can make a video game, making a board game should be cake. Maybe you could then turn it into a video game. I'm sure you'd have a much better idea of where to begin then.
