I think a really timely example of this would be Ilya's portfolio thread in P&P. Some amazing work in there, some of it from Rogue Warrior - a game that managed a metacritic score of just 29. Do you think that will affect Ilya's employment prospects? -

I realy like your lay out and design, One thing that might help is the polycounts on the models, unless im blind and dont see them.. I realy love your nuclear dawn soldier and that undead warrior with a shield, those are cool.. -

you know usually south park was a "meh" for me. But this season has made me laugh with every episode, and this last episode with the otter warriors made me laugh even more. It only took them 9 seasons to get it right with me! -
The magnificent beast
I'm going to do the most awesome beast of pure freedom that anyone could possibly imagine. Ron fucking Swanson reincarnated in the world of Thedas as qunari-warrior, who, of course, abandoned those commies and become Tal-Vashoth. Should probably make him even bigger than that. -
Interesting name generator site.
http://www.seventhsanctum.com/ Pretty much generates anything from regular characters to warriors, alien races, weapons, etc. Very useful when your having a creative block (or for a future competiton maybe :P). I think im going to use it for my next character. -

i really like your texture work on the greek warrior i'm trying to do something similar but i'm having trouble getting the color and specular/gloss to shine well no matter what i do it looks plastique like x) -

Ahh well, vikings were actually a very cultured group for the time, and the berserkers were amongst the elite warriors. I don't think people would want to see a fat slob with a beer belly running around. And the wolf eyes are glass. -

ok those segmented thumbnails are awesome. Gonna try that tonight with some prop ideas... that's so cool!! The man-bat idea is neato and I really like the warrior sketch. I'd comment on the models but I'm @ work w/ a lack of time. -

wow, too much gold for my taste but overall execution is fucking impressive :) only thing that caught my attention is the fact that armor and swords are completely undamaged, they look brand new. chick also could use more scars, being a warrior and all...
