You have an obsession with Merit MM. Yes I know Luc, I know that thread I remember his previous work. It looks good from the front, just like his previous portrait render. It also takes him a looong time to do. If there is merit in the length and dedication of time, there is no doubt.
Very nice work so far. I would prefer A as the other one changes the portrait of Shen too much I think. The hood makes him look "sneaky" in an assassin-type way (like Talon), and Shen is a tank/support so I don't really see that fitting him IMO.
thank you! I'll definitely have a look at the environment value system. I haven't really done that much environments before. I'm more of a portrait painter when it comes to 2D, so I have much to learn there! As with the moving energy... do you mean like actions and gestures of a person? The movement?
Hi guys, this is my first time on Polycount and also the first post. I Glad to be here. If i have done something not right please forgive me. This is my latest 3D character portrait about Scathach. I Hope you will like it. Thanks for your interest.
hey all, im doin a self portrait type thing...gonna add some folds here and make it asymetrical soon, just wanted to get some crits on how you all think it is coming. its about 2k poly atm, most of it in the head. anyways, thanks all.
Hey everyone! I'm a digital modeller and sculptor who is currently working their way through all the DnD characters/monsters (with some of my own personal work thrown in too) They're designed to be 3D printed but I also enjoy doing paintovers and portrait renders. Check it out!

Does replacing the stock portrait images with my own in Wizardry Gold count? (note: these aren't mine). There wasn't an editor, I just replaced files in the install directory. Otherwise it was UnrealEd2 from Unreal Tournament 2003. There was so much BSP back then.
process will always be debated, but when I hear 'hand painted' I think just that, 'hand painted from nothing.' Afterall, a 'hand painted portrait' is not a 'black and white photo with colorized layers over it.' (I'm simplifying it for sure, but just making an example)
