Website layout is key when showing a portfolio, and you NAILED IT! Love the work, the Strong-man is awesome! I honestly have no problems with the work or the layout, the only thing I would want is MORE ART! Because all of it is great :) keep up the good work!
Well...the computer station I use at school has the interesting save panel layout named "3D Studio Max". Lol...thats the extent of my customizations so far, creating the default 3DMax 4 panel layout in Maya...idk...I'm just used to it...
Ok, i layed out the uvs, now it´s to make the decission, how to layout the parts and how many texture maps to make. Any suggestions for this: The duplicated pieces are overlapping at the moment, because they were just duplicated. I have to layout all of them too.
Hi everyone! Since the release of Knald last year the KnaldTech team has been busy working on a new application. We are proud to announce the open beta of Lys - An ultra-fast GPU powered solution that sets the standard for generating Radiance, Irradiance and Specular textures from panoramic, Sphere or 2d cube map cross…
Starting work on materials though honestly I'm not sure Im 100% happy with the UV layout. EDIT: Yeah I'm going back and redoing the UV layout one more time. That texture rez is at 4096X2 and it should look much sharper than that.
I have a question concerning shortcuts, too - Is it posible to switch different shortcut layouts with a click of a button ? I would do like Rens and Remi suggested. But I would take your original layout, select all the long vertical faces, break/detach them, and stitch the long edges together so they so they fit like Rens layout.
I've heard cannabis does the same.... of course, how should I know... :) I've been using Headus UV Layout for a few years and I'll be happy to try out another package. UV Layout is pretty nice, but if it's right in Zbrush then it's less programs to jump between!

As far as your layout id say your composition of props and foliage is fine, the trees are a ok height compared to the barn (could be taller due to lack of detail in the skybox). I would try to spend some more time focusing on the lighting and color scheme here. All of…
Dunno if it will help, but if you are using a split-window layout in maya (like, hypershade on the left, perspective viewport on the right), hitting spacebar while mousing over one of the windows will maximize it and hide the rest. Hitting spacebar again will take you back to the split layout.
